Step 1:
USE MY RULE OF THREE'S TO CHANGE YOUR PHOTOS

GET AN EYECATCHING SCREEN NAME
The research is clear: Guys make snap judgments about who you are by the choice of your handle. And the two worst performing kinds of screen names? Something sexual like, BTTOM4U (even on men looking for men hookup sites) and anything with numbers like, NATHAN0674. Sound familiar? If you're using either kind of username, STOP. DELETE. And follow my formula.

Step 3:
CREATE A MUST-READ HEADLINE
Next to pictures, the headline is the most widely looked at element in your profile. If you can't get guys to read your headline, there's little chance they're going to read your profile. And poof! There go your chances. I show you the top ten most overused headlines and how to create what research shows are the most effective: The humorous header, the "Clue Them In" headline, and the "Filter Feature" that weeds out guys you don't want. Step 4:
BUILD A SMOKIN' HOT PROFILE
I'll let you in on two secrets that sites specializing in gay dating personals have known for years: 1) A profile is just as important on a men looking for men hookup site as it is on a gay relationship site. 2) Any profile longer than a certain amount of words is a waste of time (on both hookup and online dating websites). I'll tell you the exact word count that works best and precisely what you should say. For now, know that long and detailed profiles may work in straight dating sites but they're the kiss of death in gay sites.
Make your email box blink like a Macy's Christmas window. Follow my six step formula for building profiles on gay dating and hookup sites and you're going to be flooded with emails. Step 5:
WRITE EMAILS THAT GET OPENED EVERY TIME
You see a profile that makes you go, "Hubba Hubba!" How do you approach him? With a simple "Hello?" Please. If you think the guy is attractive, chances are that everyone else thinks so, too. Use my 7-step guideline and you'll write the kind of emails that not only get opened every time but set the stage for more contact. As important as email may be, you'll also find out why it's a TERRIBLE idea to have more than a few exchanges (that goes for IM too). See page 105.
Step 6:
HOW TO GET HIM TO GLADLY GIVE YOU HIS PHONE NUMBER
Your goal is to get off email or chat and step it up to a phone call. Why? Because you can't tell if you like somebody by typing at them. The question is, how do you transition from email to phone without sounding like you're rushing things? I give you over a dozen examples so you can copy/paste them into your own emails! You'll also find out why it's a bad idea to offer your phone number first, and why you should never meet anybody on the basis of just a couple of emails or texts.
Step 7:
THE SECRET TO TURNING A PHONE CALL INTO A MEET-UP.
It's natural to be nervous when you call a stranger. But with the nine easy steps I give you, charming him over the phone will be a cinch. There's one mind-blowing phone technique that's guaranteed to make him instantly like you and become comfortable enough to meet. It's all on page 93.
